The evening commences with physical and vocal warm-ups before moving into a varied schedule of new and old repertoire. The evening is rounded off with a wine or a coffee, cheese & biscuits and much laughter. It's an excellent opportunity to introduce the barbershop art form to singers and non-singers alike. How to Join PHC - the Audition Process Over a period of approximately 10 weeks, all new members go through an audition process, which is completed in two stages. Firstly you will be allocated a voice part suitable to your range. You are then given four weeks to learn a Sweet Adeline song to be sung in a quartet situation. Sheet music and a learning CD are provided. You will also be assigned a 'Big Sister' who will be there to guide and support you through the process. The second stage involves learning a song from our current repertoire, complete with choreographic moves. The expectation is to have this stage completed within a six week time frame (a total of 10 weeks). During this process you will have assistance from our music staff, directors, choreographers and our Big Sister program. We will do all we can to help you achieve your goals and join us as a fully fledged singing member of Perth Harmony Chorus.

How to Join PHC - the Audition Process
